emerging and future leaders in the
newspaper industry with the knowledge
and concepts needed to understand
the changing media and the global
marketplace.
Strategy
& Implementation for New
Leaders is offered on May 12-16, 2008.
Curriculum includes strategic implementation, understanding the marketing mindset, the value and role of journalism, financial analysis and leadership skills. The goal of this program is to give new and future leaders an opportunity to step outside their day-to-day responsibilities and gain a broader understanding of management across all departments of their organization. The Center encourages individual and group learning that is reinforced through exercises and a management simulation.
