The Behavioral Score Approach to Dependent Variables

This report develops a specific measure of newspaper readership using data from a national sample of 37,000 consumers. It quantifies a person's different aspects of newspaper usage behavior - weekday and Sunday time spent, frequency, completion - with a single score, the Reader Behavior Score or RBS.
