Business Media: Work with ABM to develop the Kellogg/Medill
Advanced Media Management Forum for business-to-business magazine
publishing executives.
Inland
Press Association: The Center's faculty are on the advisory
boards for the Inland Cost and Revenue Study and the Newspaper Industry
Compensation Study, two of the premier data sources for operating
information in the industry. The Center's Hervey Juris is the founding
director of the Newspaper Industry Compensation Survey and continues
to oversee the collection, analysis and presentation of the data.
Inter American Press Association: Conducts the annual Cost
and Revenue study for newspapers of the Americas and Caribbean and
leads the three day seminar on financial management. The Center's
staff developed a Spanish language version of the Editorial Excellence
Seminar complete with translations of key publications and presented
the seminar in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. The Center also works with
IAPA in presenting a two-week Executive Development Program.
Journalism and Women Symposium: The Center's faculty
teach the latest research findings at the JAWS annual meeting.
Magazines
Publishers of America: Working with the Magazine Publishers
of America on a study about the experience of magazine readership.
National Association of Broadcasters: Work with NAB to
develop an intensive Management Development seminar to serve the
broadcast television industry.
National Association of Minority Media Executives: Work with
NAMME to present the Leadership Development Institute at Northwestern
and the McCormick Tribune Minority Fellows Program.
