The Kellogg School of
Management is the first leading management school to offer a major
in media management. The new major, launched for the 1999-2000 academic
year, is offered in conjunction with the Media Management Center
and draws on Center faculty and research.
The major is intended
not just for students with experience in media firms; it is for
all Master of Management students who wish to prepare themselves
for work in traditional and emerging media industries or with related
consulting or vendor firms. Students who choose this major concentrate
their studies on media management issues that affect communications
in all industries.
