Ranjay Gulati
is a tenured associate professor of management and organizations
at the Kellogg School of Management, where he also is a member of
the technology and e-commerce group. He teaches e-commerce for the
Center. He has created two popular courses at Kellogg: Leading and
Organizing a High-Tech Startup and Creating and Managing Strategic
Alliances. He also co-teaches the extremely popular course called
Kellogg TechVenture.
Gulati is
a specialist on strategic and organizational issues in e-commerce
and has also done significant work on the creation and management
of inter-firm partnerships in emerging industries. His research
has been published widely in major academic journals such as Strategic
Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly,
Academy of Management Journal and Sloan Management
Review. He is an editorial board member at Administrative
Science Quarterly, Organization Science and Academy
of Management Review.
Gulati received
a B.A. in economics from St. Stephen's College in New Delhi, a B.S.
in computer science from Washington State University, an M.B.A.
from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Ph.D. from Harvard
Business School. |
