Mike Brown manages media strategy, planning and
execution for all three of Target Corporation’s managing companies
(Target, Mervyn’s and Marshall Field’s). Employed at
Target Corporation since 2001, he oversees internal and agency teams
that work with over 1,300 media outlets across the country, ensuring
that Target’s messages make the right connection with consumers.
Prior to joining Target Corporation, Mr. Brown
worked as Worldwide Media Strategist at Fallon Worldwide in Minneapolis.
He played a key role in helping Fallon grow internationally by creating
a worldwide media service network on behalf of United Airlines and
other clients.
Mr. Brown’s career began at Campbell-Mithun
where he held a variety of media planning positions working on a
diverse mix of clients such as Kmart, General Mills, International
Dairy Queen, ConAgra, Qwest/US West, Wells Fargo/Norwest Banks among
others.
A native of Iowa City, IA, Mr. Brown holds a bachelor’s
degree from Marquette University and a master’s from the University
of Minnesota. He and his family reside in St. Paul.
