Seminar Accommodations The Media Management Center's programs take place on the Northwestern University campus in Evanston, IL, just north of Chicago. Most seminars are held at the James L. Allen Center, the Kellogg School of Management's executive education center on the university campus. The James L. Allen Center 
The James L. Allen Center is located on Northwestern University's
Evanston campus at 2169 Campus Drive, on the shores
of Lake Michigan. The Allen Center is a state-of-the-art
educational and residential center with multimedia-equipped
classrooms, seminar and conference rooms. A self-service
in-room resource center includes Macintosh and
IBM-compatible computers, scanning, laptop hook-ups,
laser printers, copier and office supplies. Other
amenities include fax services, check-cashing,
safe-deposit boxes and a Federal Express drop
box.Hotels Participants for some of our programs will stay at either the Hilton Garden Inn or the Hotel Orrington in downtown Evanston, a short walk from campus. MMC handles all hotel reservations and will make arrangements for your stay. Shuttle buses between the hotel and classrooms are available for those who prefer to ride. Dining  Tuition includes the
cost of most meals. The
Allen Center combines
traditional American
favorites with international
specialties, providing
a wide array of choices
for breakfast, lunch
and dinner. Vegetarian
as well as traditional
fare is served daily.
Kosher foods are available
upon request. You can enjoy the glass-enclosed Atrium and Park dining rooms, or take in the lakefront scenery from the S. C. Johnson Wax dining area.
Evanston also offers a plethora of excellent restaurant alternatives within immediate walking distance of the hotels. Fitness and Recreation The Allen Center, the Hilton Garden Inn, and the Hotel Orrington all have fitness rooms. In addition, program participants may enjoy complimentary use of the fitness equipment, Olympic-sized pool, 1/8-mile track, tennis, squash and basketball courts located inside Northwestern University's Henry Crown Sports Pavilion and Norris Aquatics Center, which are just a short walk from the Allen Center. |
